What counts as a successful referral - lead submission, paid job, or successful recovery?

We offer two types of referral rewards:

£20 Diagnostics Bonus

You earn £20 for every device that arrives at one of our labs for diagnostics - guaranteed. This applies to any hard drive, SSD, RAID, mobile phone, flash drive, tape, or memory card. It doesn't matter whether the device is recoverable or whether the customer chooses to proceed with recovery. If it comes in, you get paid.

20% Recovery Commission

When a customer pays their final data recovery bill, you earn 20% of the total service amount - with no cap on earnings. For example, a £1,000 recovery pays you £200.

What's your success rate and turnaround time?

All devices arrive at one of our labs within 2 business days, regardless of where you're located. From there, we aim to complete diagnostics within the first 24 hours and deliver a full findings report along with a firm, no-obligation quote directly to your customer.Once the customer approves the work, recovery typically takes between 2–9 days. A precise time estimate is provided at the end of the diagnostics phase so your customer knows exactly what to expect.

As for results, our aggregate success rate is 96%. Individual outcomes vary depending on the type and severity of the damage, but our track record speaks for itself. We also back every case with a no data, no fee guarantee: if we don't recover your customer's data, they don't pay.

How do we track the status of drives we've sent in?

Once a device is checked in at one of our labs, you'll have full visibility through our online partner portal - available 24/7. You can log in at any time to see the real-time status of every device you've referred, from the moment it arrives through diagnostics, recovery, and final delivery.

Your customers are taken care of too as they receive their own separate login, giving them direct access to track their device's progress independently. Everyone stays informed without anyone having to chase down updates.

What if a customer we referred comes back 6 months later - do we still get credit?

As long as the case is linked to your unique partner ID, you get paid — no expiration dates, no fine print. Whether a customer comes back a week later or a year later, your referral credit is protected.

Your partner ID is attached at the moment the job is created, locking it in from day one. As long as the customer returns under the same job ID, your credit is permanently tied to that case and will never drop off.

And if a customer submits a new ticket for the same device down the road, our system automatically ties it back to the original case history under your account. Your credit is protected either way.

Is there training on how to identify recoverable vs. unrecoverable drives?

Accurate assessment really requires the controlled environment of our lab, specialized tools, and hands-on experience that is difficult to replicate in the field. Rather than focusing on triage, the single most valuable thing your team can do is follow one simple rule: do no harm.

The majority of devices that come through our doors have some degree of physical damage. Any attempt to recover data onsite — even a well-intentioned one — risks turning a straightforward case into a complex one. We see it regularly. What starts as a simple recovery becomes significantly more involved, more expensive, and harder for the customer to approve simply because the device was powered on or tampered with before arriving at our lab.

The less that is done to a device before it reaches us, the higher our success rate, the lower the cost to the customer, and the more likely they are to approve the work — which means a faster, larger commission for you.

The best advice we can give is this: do not power on the device. Package it securely and let our team take it from there. That single step protects your customer's data, keeps costs down, and gives everyone the best possible outcome.
